In 2004-2005, 3Dclic worked on the fabrication of a preschool animated serie entitled "Cotoons" (a French-Canadian coproduction). This 7-minutes, 26-episodes, is a mix of 3D computer animation images and live shootings. It is airing on France5 and Radio-Canada since the end of 2005. |

3Dclic Motion Studio was selected in Paris by the producers (Film in stock and Zone3) based on its ability to handle such project. 3Dclic also convinced the producers and diffusers that a high quality integration of the cotoons in the live images could be achieved within the costs constraints of the producers. |
3Dclic developped a dedicated pipeline making it possible to easily combine keyframe animation and motion capture animation. It took 15 days to complete one episode from storyboard to final mixing. "The Cotoons ": a 26x7 minuts animated serie written by Jean-Yves Le Porcher, Alain Pineau, Manon and Muguette Berthelet, directed by Philippe Percebois, and produced by Film in Stock and Zone 3, with the participation of France 5, Radio-Canada and TV Ontario.
